June 13 / the orange butterfly

Today I saw a little orange butterfly.  I wasn't close enough to identify it, but I would say it was either a 'comma' or a 'question mark', which look similar, are orange with brown and white markings, and brown under-wings.  They are named for little white marks on the under-wings, which somewhat resemble the. 

Common birds: house sparrow, starling, grackle, robin, mourning dove, cardinal (male)

Spring visitors: red-wing blackbird (male)
