June 21 / the summer

It's the first day of summer, and the first day I've skipped writing.  I was off doing other things, but I did spend a little time in my backyard.

Common birds: cardinal (pair), house sparrow, starling

Summer visitors: red-wing blackbird (pair), brown headed cowbird (male)
