the nest / June 26

There is a robin nesting in the maple tree.  Our peonies are nearly finished blooming, but the day lilies are just starting. 

Common birds: mourning dove, robin, grackle, house sparrow, starling, blue jay

Summer visitors: red-wing blackbird (male)
